Spring/Summer AC Service
- Clean condenser coil with water if needed
- Check electrical connections for tightness
- Check starting contacts
- Check for adequate refrigerant charge (add up to 2lbs)
- Check for oil and refrigerant leaks
- Check safety devices
- Check blower belt and pulley for wear, tension and alignment
- Check expansion valve and coil temperatures
- Check evaporator coil for cleanliness
- Check blower wheel
- Check air temperature drop across evaporator
- Check cleanliness of air filter(s)
- Lubricate all moving parts as needed
- Check condensate pan for corrosion
- Clear drain of algae clogging
- Adjust system for optimum performance
- Add algaecide
